Sänger und Gitarrist bei Point7. Sein persönlicher Schwerpunkt liegt im Blues und Rock’n Roll. Neben dem Arrangieren von anspruchsvollen Coverversionen beschäftigt er sich auch gerne, wenn es die Zeit und Muse zulässt, mit dem Texten eigener Kompositionen (u.a. „Des vergiß i da nie“).
Sowohl als Leadsänger als auch im Backgroundchor fühlt er sich wohl, und heiße Rhythmen auf der E-Gitarre als auch auf der akustischen Gitarre sind dabei das Seine.
Als echter Live-Musiker blüht er so richtig auf, wenn er nach intensiven Probephasen wieder auf ein enthusiastisches Konzertpublikum trifft, frei nach dem Motto: Live is life!

Begonnen hat es, als mein Vater aus dem Dorotheum eine gebrauchte Gitarre nachhause gebracht hat. Ich habe stundenlang Lieder anhand eines Griffes interpretiert. Da das nicht sehr gut harmonisierte, interessierte ich mich dann auch für ein, zwei weitere Griffe, die mein Gitarren- und Gesangsleben grundlegend veränderten: Ich konnte mit den drei Griffen (meiner Meinung nach) ganze Lieder interpretieren. Mit ca. 15 Jahren habe ich in der Schule mit Freunden und ebensolchen Möchtegernmusikern nebenbei gemeinsam, in wechselnder Besetzung nach einiger Zeit die erste halbwegs ernstzunehmende Band gegründet:
Seppl’s Delight
Nach anfänglichen Nachspielereien uns bekannter Rock’n’roll-Songs haben wir auch eigene Lieder im Austro Rock/Pop Stil komponiert und geschrieben. Mit dem Mix aus bekannten und eigenen Songs haben wir dann auch einige Bandwettbewerbe sowie Auftritte absolviert. Nichts hält ewig, auch nicht Seppl’s Delight, hauptsächlich aufgrund des traurigen tödlichen Motorradunfalles unseres damaligen Freundes und Bassisten. Nach meiner Lehrzeit, inspiriert auch durch die Arbeitsumgebung und auch aufgrund meines „bandlosen“ Daseins hab ich mit einem Arbeitskollegen sowie eines Ex-Seppl’s die nächste Band gegründet. Einen Namen hatten wir noch nicht, doch aufgrund der internen Firmenfeier, wo wir aufgetreten sind, haben wir uns lt. Firmenwortlaut genannt:
BWS Combo
Mit bis zu zehn unterschiedlichsten Musikern aus dem Arbeitsumfeld hatten wir 2 große Firmenfeiern unterhalten können. Jedoch auch diese Konstellation hielt nicht lange, einige verließen die Firma, der Rest zerstreute sich. Nach einer kleinen Leerzeit erfuhr ich durch Zufall, dass es da eine Gruppe Musiker gibt, die sich neu formatieren wollen, und noch Platz für Innovationen haben. Nach einem kurzen Gesprächstreffen haben wir (sieben bunt gemischt zusammengeworfene Musiker) begonnen, gemeinsam unsere unterschiedlichsten Ideen und Musikstilrichtungen in ein Programm zu verpacken. Der etwas sonderbare Name entstand aufgrund unserer Anzahl, als auch aufgrund der Tatsache, dass wir alle sieben Tage einmal um Punkt sieben Uhr proben wollen:

So verschieden wie wir Charaktere ist auch unser Musikprogramm: Wir spielen was uns gefällt und hoffen, dass es dem Publikum genauso geht. Meinerseits sind die Einflüsse aus den Richtungen erdiger Rock, Rock’n’roll sowie Eigenkompositionen in Muttersprache zu erkennen. Als unterdrückte Rampensau kann es auch passieren, dass ich einiges an Bewegung in die Bühnenperformance einbringe. In meiner Rolle der Band hat sich mein Mix aus Gitarre, Gesang und Mundharmonika erfolgreich etabliert.
Peter Fuchs Die ersten musikalischen Erfahrungen - zum Leidwesen der (genervten) Nachbarn - kamen durch den Plattenspieler und dem Lautstärkeregler der elterlichen HiFi Anlage.
Als „Quereinsteiger und Spätberufener“, begann ich die ersten (tiefen) Töne noch mit einem monophonen Synthesizer meistens „genau daneben“ zu erzeugen. Mit viel Geduld aller Beteiligten! - Seit 20 Jahren, gemeinsam mit meiner Frau Gabi, in der "Juke-Box"(Kommerzband), habe auch ich meinen Platz am E-Bass in den Tiefen der Musik gefunden. Technisch experimentierfreudig und musikalisch vielseitig - nie ganz perfekt, aber immer mit Freude für Neues (Musik, Kaffee, Hopfenblütentee,...) zu haben!
Die(Band)Technik! entwickelte sich als 2. Hobby. So Nebenbei konnte ich bei vielen Live-Events als "Ton"-Techniker in Österreich Erfahrung sammeln und diese in die Band einbringen.
"Don Pedro" steht für: Der ruhende "tiefe" Pol der Truppe, viel Kaffee, und - nur ja kan’ Stress machen! ;-)

In frühen Jahren mit Akkordeon und Gitarre sowie gesanglich diverse Schulveranstaltungen und Lagerfeuertreffen musikalisch unterhalten, habe ich mich in den letzten Jahren vor allem stimmlich überzeugend weiterentwickelt. Mit dieser guten Band im Hintergrund, kann ich so richtig aus mich herausgehen und die Songs überzeugend rüberbringen.
Das Arrangieren der Lieder kann ich nicht so einfach nur den anderen überlassen, meinen Ideenreichtum muss ich sowohl in die Coverversions, als auch in die eigenen Interpretationen einfließen lassen. In der "Juke-Box" - Kommerzmusikformation (besteht mittlerweile seit 20 Jahren), gemeinsam mit meinem Mann Peter, Bruder Christian und unserem langjährigen Freund Martin, heizen wir auf Hochzeiten, Geburtstagen und ähnlichen Feiern dem Publikum ganz schön ein. Und in dieser Formation heißt es dann auch für mich kräftig in die Tasten klopfen - mein Keyboard hab ich dann fest im Griff.
Als einziges weibliches Bandmitglied muss ich mich manchmal ganz schön gegen den Rest der Band durchsetzen - stimmlich gelingt mir das aber allemal!! So hab ich meinen Platz in der Band gefunden und kann meine Begeisterung fürs Saxophonspielen auch noch ausleben.
Seit der Gründung im März 2012 freue ich mich als singendes Mitglied im Gospelchor "gospelPROject" dabei zu sein. Neben stimmlicher und musikalischer Inspirationen bedeuten die wöchentlichen Proben, diverse Auftritte und Konzerte immer Spass, Motivation und Begeisterung am gemeinschaftlichen Erlebnis.
